WorkForce Software Vision 2018: Recap, Review & Event Highlights
Workforce Software’s 2018 Vision user conference wrapped up this week in Phoenix. This year’s event was a notable success, drawing a large number of attendees that included current and prospective WorkForce Software users, WorkForce Software executives, partners, service providers, and sponsoring firms.
Keynote Speaker & 2017 Highlights
The event featured keynote speaker and WorkForce Software CEO Mike Morini, whose 2017 year in review revealed WorkForce Software had signed 125 new customers in 2017, including an increasing number of large international companies with complex solution requirements. Morini emphasized the company’s focus on putting customer interests first to help organizations facilitate time and attendance and scheduling and improve compliance to achieve workforce management goals.
Impressive success stories in this regard were interspersed throughout this event. Morini put the spotlight on global retailer Walmart, whose health and wellness division has made WorkForce Software its workforce management system of choice, and several breakout sessions were dedicated to other large and well-known clients, such as Hallmark, who has been able to drastically reduce payroll costs and achieve significant ROI after implementing WorkForce Forecasting & Scheduling.
WorkForce Suite Product Roadmap Update
WorkForce Software’s Joe Ross, Vice President, Global Product Management, also played a big role in this year’s event, outlining the company’s projected roadmap for its WorkForce Suite and revealing recent release highlights. Some of these included the Crew Management feature mobile app and productivity tracker for field workers; Absence Compliance Tracker enhancements such as ADA reasonable accommodation tracking and multiple-document email capabilities, and an employee self-service mobile app for swapping scheduled shifts with manager approval.
Guest Keynote Speaker
Guest keynote speaker Margie Warrell, author of “Find Your Courage” and “Make Your Mark” rounded out the event with a motivational message for attendees, and sessions throughout the course of the event included thought leadership around today’s most pressing workforce management challenges, highlighting the importance of compliance with evolving labor laws and upcoming regulations, as well as women’s leadership in the workforce.
