Having decided to make the move to Kronos Workforce Dimensions from a very basic time and labor system and completely manual scheduling processes, this not-for-profit hospital was seeking a trusted client-side workforce management advisor and Kronos Workforce Dimensions partner with extensive healthcare expertise to help guide them through the process and navigate the change to the organization this major shift would bring.

Well known for its Kronos workforce management consulting expertise, Workforce Insight was engaged to assist the organization in making a seamless transition as the first acute-care hospital in the United States to implement the Kronos Workforce Dimensions solution. Leveraging healthcare industry experience and deep healthcare staffing & scheduling expertise, Workforce Insight provided advice and direction to the customer project team throughout the Workforce Dimensions implementation process, not only incorporating leading healthcare best practices into the design of the Workforce Dimensions solution but also in guiding the creation of redesigned processes associated with timekeeping, scheduling, leave, and attendance management.

Workforce Insight also provided thorough training strategy development focused on client requirements and project needs, as well as comprehensive Kronos Workforce Dimensions training materials development services. Additionally, because the client had no change management department and had never formally managed change in past projects, Workforce Insight was able to bring its expertise in successfully leading healthcare organizations through major change to help make the transition to Workforce Dimensions a smooth process for the hospital and its employees. As part of the change management related to this project, Workforce Insight:

  • Helped develop a communication strategy, and then built and presented messaging and company-wide communications to help communicate changes on the horizon that the Workforce Dimensions implementation would bring
  • Established a group of “change champions” from across the company as early adopters of the Kronos Workforce Dimensions system; helped this team engage and influence direct reports, colleagues, and peers in adopting change
  • Acted as mentors to the change champions team, helping them identify impacts of the changes and offer support and assistance in adopting the changes that are necessary for a successful transition and optimal end-user adoption of the new Workforce Dimensions system
