Mike has spent much of his career helping some of the most highly regarded enterprises achieve optimal performance, higher satisfaction and rich rewards through careful planning and execution of workforce management initiatives. He has earned a reputation for honesty and integrity, and brings a rare but comprehensive perspective as a former software vendor, client and strategic workforce management consultant.
Mike has spent most of his fifteen-year career in the field of workforce management and has received leadership acclaim for building effective consulting teams and advisory practices through disciplined execution, targeted expansion and a commitment to optimal customer satisfaction. Prior to joining Workforce Insight, Mike founded WFM 2.0, a strategic workforce management consulting firm with niche focus on research, planning and execution of workforce management solutions. At WFM 2.0, Mike pioneered the development of advanced proprietary tools that optimize and streamline the tasks associated with needs analysis, benchmarking, requirements gathering and execution of workforce management solutions. As an early employee of industry-changing software vendor Workbrain (now Infor), he was part of a determined management team that helped grow the company to more than 500 employees and ultimately go public on the Toronto Stock Exchange. Mike opened and ran Workbrain’s West Coast Office as Regional Vice President of Professional Services. After Workbrain, he joined HEB Grocery in solutions strategy and planning for store systems, including workforce management. Following HEB, Mike was responsible for workforce management consulting services for key enterprise accounts, while helping another firm build its retail consulting practice. Prior to his entry into the workforce management field, Mike worked at Andersen Consulting where he focused on large information technology projects for Fortune 500 clients.
Mike holds an MBA from York University with a concentration on Organizational Behavior and Information Technology. He also earned a Bachelor of Commerce from Concordia University in Montreal, Canada.
