As the Director Govt./Education & Manufacturing for Workforce Insight, Melanie Houston reviews the unique challenges faced by government entities and school districts, and provides practical, time-tested strategies that help streamline the implementation process, boost user adoption, and generate higher returns from technology investments.
Melanie has over 15 years of collective expertise in the implementation of Workforce Management and HCM solutions (people, process, and technologies) including timekeeping, scheduling, leave & attendance management solutions, Lawson HR & Payroll and SAS Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing solutions.
Melanie brings deep expertise from within the public sector, including her early role as an Officer in the U.S. Air Force. Her more recent implementation project leadership roles include the States of Colorado and New Mexico, Public School systems in Colorado and Texas, Counties and Municipalities in California and Nevada, and the University of Washington.
Melanie earned her BA in Business Economics from the University of California and her MBA from the University of New Mexico, Anderson Schools of Management.
