Larry Leibach

Larry Leibach is a Retail Senior Strategist at Workforce Insight, where he guides the provision of retail workforce management consulting initiatives for some of the most well-known domestic and global retailers. Larry directs the assessment and delivery of optimized scheduling and labor management solutions to address critical business challenges faced by retailers.
Recognized for leadership and innovation, Larry brings over 20 years of retail labor management expertise from the POS to the board room. Prior to joining Workforce Insight, Larry held a variety of leadership roles with Payless Shoe Source, culminating in his roles as Director of Retail Store Operations and Director of Profit Improvement.
His success has been marked by one of the most highly regarded optimized scheduling projects in the retail industry, impacting over 20,000 associates in 4,000 stores. Larry’s innovative programs have been repeatedly featured, modeled and praised for helping large retailers exceed sales forecasts, without increasing labor expense. He has also pioneered multiple profit improvement initiatives that directly increased store conversion and yielded significant EBIT improvement.
Larry is intimately familiar with business challenges faced by retailers. He has garnered recognition for the innovative launch of associate behavior programs, customer engagement initiatives, as well as conversion improvement programs. His expertise and customer focus allow him to truly optimize the way retailers leverage scheduling, timekeeping and workforce analytics.
Larry earned his MBA from De Paul University in Chicago, Illinois, graduating with distinction. He has been repeatedly invited to present his retail workforce management expertise as session expert and guest speaker. He enjoys hiking and running, with 6 Marathons under his belt. Larry lives in Kansas with his wife and son, and enjoys visits from his daughter.
